Answer: Uncertain Death without having Christ in your Life.
Have you ever asked yourself “Am I ready to Die?”
Death may happen anytime and anywhere, This is like a thief in the night that you don’t expect to come. What if God would be like in this situation? Its True! In 1 Thessalonians 5:2 “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.“
In what way why we are not ready to die?
We are not ready to die its because we don’t offer our lives to the Lord by serving Him.
We are not ready to die its because we don’t obey his commandments.
We are not ready to die its because we won’t confess our sins.
We are not ready to die its because we are not accepting God as our personal savior and not ready to make decision to be baptized under his Church.
We are not ready to die its because we are not preaching the word of God and Spread the good news.
We are not ready to die its because we still love Earthly things and no time for God.
We are not ready to die its because we don’t go to Church every Sunday to worship him and listen the Word of God.
We are not ready to die its because we don’t want to know him and even try to know him.
Oftentimes, we see some people preaching the word of God, Sometimes in the market place, Streets, Outside School Campuses and Malls, Prisons, anywhere but what were we doing? We used to laugh at them, despising them, refused to listen even for a single moment, instead we give more attention to our friends “Barkadas”, night life, hang-outs, gambling, business, and busy how to become rich and famous.
“Envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:21 (NIV)
Haven’t you noticed that? Instead of going to Church Every Sunday, people are in the Beaches, Bars, Social parties, Parks, Malls Etc.. anywhere that could make themselves happy on Earthly things. Could we have just share a day or an hour to the Lord? Knowing that, he has given us 24 hours a day Monday to Saturday and Sunday is for the Lord. But what happen? We still spend Sunday for our pleasures. We owe him everything, our life, our breathing all things that we have for our daily living these are blessings from God,so couldn’t you find to give him thanks for all of these?
Are we contented with our Lives today? We work, we eat, we sleep and then we die. After dying what now? How about “Salvation”, “Crown of Life”, “Eternal Life”, “True Happiness” are you not longing for these?
“He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:23
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,” James 1:2
“That everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” John 3:15
We are just strangers in this world, given the opportunity to see how wonderful the earth is and given the chance to live and experience how it is to be here.
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them” Ecclesiastes 12:1(NIV)
How will we accept Christ?
God design simple things on how to accept him. We just have to listen the word of God, We must believe and open our hearts to him as our creator and personal savior. We must confess our sins unto him and do good to our brothers and sisters. We must turn away on evil things, and most of all we must worship God and be baptized under his Church which called Church of Christ
“And I tell you that you are Peter,and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18 (NIV)
“Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the Churches of Christ send greetings.” Romans 16:16 (NIV)
The only Church built be Jesus Christ not Church of anybody or any name. Because Christ is only the Head of the Church and we will be called Christians.
Some People say Religion or Denomination in particular is not important as long as you believe in God and pray only at their own house without attending Sunday worship.
Incorrect Reasoning! These reasons used only for the people who are lazy and still cannot give up their own vices in life.
Religion (denomination) is very important it could make a big difference to save your life. Its our relation to God, we believe in Christ therefore we should be called Christians under his Church which is the Church of Christ. Simple and easy to understand, say for instance if you you believe and worship the Nature therefore your Church will be Church of Nature. Many genius and professional people cannot understand the importance of a name of the Church.
Some people say its okay not to attend Church Sunday Worship but that against on the scripture passage from
Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship”.
Acts 20:7 “On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight”.
Think of That…
If you will be now a Christian you will be new creation to him, you will find the true happiness that you’ve been looking for.
See how pleasant to be Christian, Christ lives inside your heart, you’ll find the peace of mind, No worries about anything,(James 1:2), No broken families and friends, No vices in life, and if problems and trials will come we learn how to overcome all of it because Christ will not leave us nor forsake us, most of all we are not afraid to die because we are always prepared anytime anywhere.
To those who have started knowing Christ, or to those who already knew him, continue to serve and worship him while we are waiting for his coming. Spread the Gospel
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20, NKJV)
Do good unto others. How great is our God! How blessed we are to be his people! How wonderful it is to be his servant!
