10 Ways YOU can help NOW:


1. Become a key voice in positioning Christ’s Church as a leader in responding to the unnecessary tragedy of human trafficking.

* Spread the word to other churches and ministries.
* Distribute Rapha House literature and DVDs.
* Encourage people to sign up for Rapha House email updates. (Sign-up at raphahouse@pacbell.net.)
* Write an editorial for your local newspaper.

2. Hold anti-trafficking awareness raising events for your ministry and community.

* Show “Baht” to your youth group or church.
* Develop other awareness raising programs, including focused prayer guides. (We have some suggested prayer guides that you can adapt to your purposes.)
* Participate in the National Anti-trafficking Weekend of Prayer and Fasting. (Go to the Salvation Army’s website for details: http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/

3. Start in your ministry a “Healing for the Wounded Heart” Christ-centered recovery program for survivors of abuse and sexual trauma. Use the English version of the materials that we use at Rapha House.

* Build awareness about the human trafficking issue by introducing our resources to survivor ministries in local churches. Make our devotional book available to persons in your ministry. (We have written and published a devotional book of 100 devotions for survivors of abuse.)

4. Help Rapha House raise funds to launch its next shelter and aftercare program.

5. Pray for our “Million Kids” campaign. We can send you more details in upcoming emails. According to UNICEF 1.2 million children are trafficked each year. If the bad guys are harming that many children each year, we figure the good guys need to help at least that many children each year. Million Kids aims to do just that.

6. Help Rapha House raise funds to purchase more housing for our foster care program.

7. Promote child sponsorships. (We can provide more details.)

8. Buy Rapha t-shirts and jewelry. Our goal is to have our internet store online in the next few months. The jewelry is really cool. And the net proceeds go to combating human trafficking.

9. Spread the word about our website and blog (www.freedomforgirls.org and http://freedomforgirls.blogspot.com).

10. PRAY for the kids, Rapha House and its staff and leaders.
